  Eger is a city in northern Hungary, the county seat of Heves, east of the Mátra Mountains. Eger is best known for its castle, thermal baths, historic buildings and red and white wines.   Miskolc is smaller city in northern Hungary, by the river Szinva. Dominative is the gotic church with its bell tower, located on the Avas hill, from where it is beautiful view of the city. Worth to see is the principal synagogue, which is unfortunately still waiting for its reconstruction.
